MARC FELGOISE
PRINCIPAL

Marc Felgoise is a Principal with Intersect Advisers. Mr. Felgoise is an experienced real estate financing executive, having owned and operated a number of real estate financing enterprises in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Felgoise has over a decade of experience in political and philanthropic fundraising for various causes, both throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and nationally. Mr. Felgoise co-founded and now manages the Philadelphia Israel Network, a group that supports members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives as a member of the organized Jewish community. Under his guidance, this group has successfully organized almost 100 political fundraisers for federal legislators throughout the nation. In addition to his business and political endeavors, Mr. Felgoise is active in the philanthropic community, both regionally and nationally. He has been involved in the creation of several 501(c)(3)-approved charitable foundations and currently serves on the boards of multiple organizations, including the Abramson Center for Jewish Life and the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation. IAN MICHEL
PRINCIPAL

Ian Michel is a Principal with Intersect Advisers. Mr. Michel has substantial experience both in the private sector and in the political arena. In the private sector, Mr. Michel has secured financing for and/or held senior executive positions with a variety of companies in such varied industries as health sciences, technology and finance. In addition, Mr. Michel was a founder and Managing Principal of FieldPoint Partners SBIC, LP, a venture capital fund focusing on early stage technology investments in the Mid-Atlantic region. With respect to his political work, Mr. Michel has participated in almost 100 political fundraisers for federal legislators throughout the nation, and has led numerous grassroots lobbying delegations to Washington, D.C. In addition to his business and political initiatives, Mr. Michel has been actively involved in the philanthropic community throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He is a member of the Union League of Philadelphia, the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executives Group and the Board of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee of Greater Philadelphia. ALAN RUBIN
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Alan Rubin is a Managing Director of Intersect Advisers. Mr. Rubin is a government relations expert with over 25 years of experience at the state and federal levels of government. He has worked for clients in the finance, sports, entertainment, national security, defense and technology sectors, among others. Mr. Rubin previously worked with Lehman Brothers’ investment banking division, where he helped design and underwrite the catastrophic fund for hurricane relief and rebuilding of the State of Florida. He then served as Vice President of the Miami-Dade Economic Development Agency, where he led major reconstruction efforts after Hurricane Andrew. This earned him national exposure as an expert in the field of natural and manmade disasters, as well as the nickname of "Hurricane Czar" by local, state and federal officials. Among his other notable client work, Mr. Rubin designed the model for communities faced with base closure and economic downturn for the Department of Defense. Secretary of Defense William Perry announced at the time that the plan design was the "model for the nation" for communities affected by base closure. Mr. Rubin received his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Miami.

ANDREW KENNEDY
ENERGY ADVISER

Andrew Kennedy is an Energy Adviser with Intersect Advisers. Mr. Kennedy is an experienced energy developer and consultant, having assisted with the development of various alternative energy projects including Solar, Wind, CHP, and Fuel Cells in the Mid-Atlantic & North East region. In addition to development experience, Mr. Kennedy has 6 years of financing experience ranging from commercial real-estate, energy projects, and reinsurance contract. His broad experience with finance allows him to quickly discover the best way to structure a project for financing success. In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Kennedy is active in historic preservation, Philadelphia arts, and volunteering. He is a board member of the historic Fort Mifflin and assists in the upkeep of the important Revolutionary War site, he is a member of the Wayne Oratory Society Choir, and he volunteers at a thrift store, Twice Loved Treasures, in Vineland, NJ in order to support their mission of providing healthcare education and services to low-income families around his home town. He holds an MBA and M.S. in Finance from the LeBow School of Business at Drexel University, a B.A. in Economics from Washington College, holds a certification as a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and holds his PA Real Estate License. JON RUNYAN
ADVISER

Jon Runyan is an Adviser to Intersect Advisers. He served as a Member of the United States House of Representatives for two terms from January 2011 until January 2015. Representing New Jersey’s Third Congressional District, Congressman Runyan served his constituency on three key committees: the Armed Services Committee, the Veterans Affairs Committee, and the Natural Resources Committee. His efforts in Congress were focused on veterans issues, such as cost of living adjustments and suicide prevention; defense issues, including mission support on the district’s Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst; coastal and natural resource issues such as beach replenishment and fishing policy; and support for constituents and towns affected by Hurricane Sandy. In 1996, Jon was drafted by the Houston Oilers (now the Tennessee Titans), and in 2000 signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he enjoyed a successful career as an offensive tackle for nine seasons. He retired from the NFL in 2010. Mr. Runyan is an active on-air analyst and personality for WIP Sports Talk Radio, and previously on Comcast SportsNet and 92.5 XTU Country Radio, as well as a player reporter for Fox 29 Philadelphia. Mr. Runyan is involved in numerous charities and organizations that benefit the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, including the New Jersey Special Olympics, the American Red Cross, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the USO, the Armed Forces Freedom Ride and Habitat for Humanity. KENNETH KOVAN
ADVISER

Mr. Kovan is an Adviser to Intersect Advisers on matters of corporate development, strategic planning, business development & licensing, and global brand marketing. Mr. Kovan is Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development for Phelix Therapeutics Inc. He is also Managing Principal of BinghamHill Ventures, which provides interim management and resource investment for early-stage technology ventures. Mr. Kovan has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry working with early-stage companies, academic research institutes, and for multinationals. He is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Board member, the founder of both private and exchange-traded biotech ventures, and has been the Director of Strategic Marketing and New Product Development for a global pharma. He has a broad international business background, having worked extensively in Latin American and Asia/Pacific markets, as well as resided in Europe for many years. Mr. Kovan is an Executive-in-Residence with Phase 1 Ventures, an Adviser for LytPhage Pharmaceuticals Inc., serves on the Board of The Philadelphia Childrens Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and is on the Advisory Board of the Monmouth University School of Science in New Jersey. GIDEON GRADMAN
ADVISER

Mr. Gideon Gradman is an Adviser to Intersect Advisers on matters of energy, environmental and industrial real estate development. He has over 15 years of experience as an energy executive with expertise in business development, government affairs and policy in the oil & natural gas, electric power, waste management sectors. Mr. Gradman has served as both a company executive and as an adviser to multinational energy and chemicals companies as well as to venture capital portfolio managers. Mr. Gradman is President of Integrated Energy Advisors where he advises on corporate strategy and energy project development. Previously, he was the Director of Business Development and Real Estate for Braskem, a worldwide maker of polymers and petrochemicals, where he focused on advancing the North American growth strategy through the development of new business, manufacturing, and logistics assets. Mr. Gradman is also active in the community. In 2006, he was appointed by Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney to serve as a Public Member on the Massachusetts Energy Facility Siting Board. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Gold Standard Foundation USA and is an Industry Champion for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. JIM PETERS
ADVISER

Jim Peters is an Adviser to Intersect Advisers on energy and infrastructure matters. Mr. Peters brings 25 years of business strategy and management experience to Intersect Advisers, as well as deep industry experience in virtually all aspects of the oil and gas industry. Mr. Peters is engaged with Partners in Performance, a performance improvement consulting group and is a founding principal of Fraqua, Inc., a logistics and wastewater treatment company focused on handling frac water from the Marcellus Shale gas operations. Previously Mr. Peters was a partner with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on operational improvement and business strategy in the energy, logistics, and consumer products industries. Mr. Peters is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

STEVEN FRIEDMAN
ADVISER

Steven Friedman is an Adviser to Intersect Advisers and practices law at the firm of Duane Morris LLP based in Philadelphia in the area of corporate and commercial litigation. He has handled matters involving trade secrets, antitrust, securities, trademark and patent infringement including ANDA under Hatch Waxman, RICO, class action and corporate control and takeover/proxy fights, and breach of contract as well as other areas of corporate and commercial litigation. After graduation from law school, Mr. Friedman served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Samuel Roberts of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mr. Friedman has extensive involvement in business and political activities in Israel. He has served and continues to serve as a legal and personal Adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and has served as General Counsel to the Likud Party of Israel in the United States. A member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations, Mr. Friedman is a 1971 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a cum laude graduate of Yale University.
